New York is an ugly city, a dirty city. Its climate is a scandal, its politics frighten children, its traffic is madness, its competition is murderous. But there is one thing about — once you have lived in New York and it has become your home, no place else is good enough.

Maybe I’m being too unreasonably nonchalant about this incoming “epic” storm we’re having, but I just can’t seem to figure out how mother nature could unleash her rage on such a lovely city filled with exciting, eclectic people. I mean supposedly it’s the city that never sleeps; the city’s lights are always beaming at night, but now the streets are empty, it’s gotten alot quieter, and it is such a dreary cloudy morning.
Now the subways have stopped working..such an odd feeling.
